I thought I already knew a lot about Lewis and Clark, but I learned a lot more at this interpretive center. It has great exhibits featuring the latest research. For instance, they stress that the expedition was military in nature, and military discipline was enforced....More

So interesting and well done. Beautiful murals and very educational. If you are interested in history, you must visit. No charge to this wonderful Center.

The interpreter center keeps it interesting with various rooms and displays (including animatronic figures) that teach about the journey of Lewis and Clark and the way it was documented.

We enjoyed this place. well layed out, nicely done and kept up. The center has very good displays and animated maniquines; i.e. Jefferson, Lewis & Clark. Every Wednesday they have local performers jam and you can sit in to listen or join them. Spent 2...More

Very interesting, well-presented, updated museum detailing Lewis & Clark's explorations. The exhibit highlights the one man that died in their group - Sergeant Floyd - who died at the Sioux City location, which gives it more of a personal twist. Well-done animated life-size characters add...More

Much better than I expected. The grounds and buildings were well laid out and very organized. Free admission was a complete surprise. Great sculptures.

We went to see the free exhibit on the waterfront out of interest of Lewis and Clark. This place is an incredible gathering of data about the entire expedition. There are sculptures of famous people, animals, scenes. Wonderful artwork and photos from world-renown photographers line...More

There are not many things for toddlers. Some exhibits have "Do not touch" signs. I would think that toddlers would not do well there.
