Located just south of Littleton, a southern suburb of the Denver area is amazing to drive up and see Bison roaming. They were right next to the fencing allowing us an up close view. Whether your biking, hiking or driving nearby make sure you take a moment to take in the views from Daniels Park. A clear day will give you views from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak. If you're looking for a stunning sunset look no further.

We like to visit here for sunset as often as possible. The parking has always been adequate. There can be a lot of photographers there with their clients.

Interesting local park. A buffalo herd is across the road from the park. Unfortunately the park shows signs of heavy use and it is not well maintained. If that is not a concern the park has great views of the front range and a private golf course that is somewhat scenic.

Beautiful part with great views. We had family photos taken there by a professional photographer if that tells you anything.

For the less mobile there are also numerous picnic benches and fire... More

Peaceful place for a romantic picnic. Sometimes you see the Buffalo close by other times you can hear the elk bugle!

This is a great location for hiking, biking, etc. The views are amazing and there are a lot of different trails. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

One way to get to Daniels Park is via University and turn right on Griggs, then right again on Daniels Park Road. There is a covered area where there are benches for gatherings, or you can wander down the trails to tables where you can eat and see the majestic view of the mountains and the golf course far below.... This is a must every time we go see our family. We love the views summer and winter. We usually see Buffalos and Prairie Dogs too.
