The one lane, dirt/gravel, bumpy road up to the winery is tree lined with glimpses of the Mississippi River. Once you get to the top, the tasting of their wines tells you it was worth the trip. Very good wines at an affordable price.

Lovely, welcoming winery on the banks of the Mississippi. Wonderful stop on the Great River Road between Dubuque and Davenport. Good food, wine, view and company. Don't miss it.

I'd read a lot about the "trail" to the winery, so I let Hubby drive :) It was less than a mile of one-lane trail, with a few places to let cars pass. I wouldn't try it if it was muddy though. But being from...More

The winery is in a rather remote area above the Mississippi. The last weekend of October. Colors were vibrant and the view was unbelievable. We found several wines we really liked.

We serve beer (Great River Brewery Pale Ale & Bud Light) at the winery in Clinton. At tasting rooms in the Village of East Davenport and Le Claire we sell wine by the bottle.

They serve snacks for the most part. You can order a tray but it is usually not an actual meal.
