Walking around the Surf Ballroom was like stepping back in history. One could only imaging spending the night dancing to wake to the devastating news that 3 icons of music passed away while you were sleeping.

Usually have a great band but had Dale Dick and he burned alot of time doing "nothing". Many people around us left. Not 50 and 60s music. Very disappointing this yr.

We went on a whim, but were thoroughly amazed. It truly looks like walking into the 1950's. The memorabilia is well displayed and tells a moving story of the musicians life and tragic end.

I only rated this a good because the museum was not open when we visited the site. It is worth the few minutes off the highway to visit when passing through Clear Lake especially for rock and roll fans who grew up in the 50's...More

They can always come to look at the building and free museum. Would assume they could attend any event not listed as 18 or over
