Love Snake Alley in the Spring.

So pretty in the Spring. So fun when they have the Snake Alley Art Fair in the summer also. Beautiful homes on this wonderfully crooked brick road. We love taking pictures here.

We were staying overnight in Burlington and decided to check out Snake Alley. We parked in the neighborhood to the north and walked from top to bottom (the easy route!) on the cobblestones. An interesting, historical curiosity worth experiencing.

If you are in Burlington, it is worth driving over to snake alley...it will only take a few minutes out of your day. It is a very, very windy road paved with bricks. A bit of history not to be missed!

Although it was cold out when we went the kids thought it was so neat. We only spent a few minutes there but would go back just to walk around and see all the museum's during the open season.

Whenever we are back in Burlington we always take a quick drive down this crazy road. Neat little part of the city.

this alley has some great history, it is well cared for, & a beautiful sight to see. you can take awesome photos any season, it is a short jaunt up or down, can walk, drive or ride bikes, it is used for the annual snake alley criterium memorial day weekend. best of all this beautiful & rare attraction is free!

A must see in Burlington, Ia. Spring and fall is very beautiful. You will be amazed how crooked this street is! A fun ride down in your car or bicycle.

Snake Alley in Burlington, IA is one of those hidden and underappreciated little city treasures definitely worth a visit. No cost, no tourist trap, no fanfare; just an honest oddity saved from years long gone by a city proud of its riverboat era. While I can't vouch for it truly being the crookedest street in the world, it is an... More
