As a child this was a picnic spot for my family. Always so well cared for and plenty of room for family gatherings. Very close to Dankwardt Park so lots of space and both are very well cared for.

If you take time out to really look at some the older trees here, it is fascinating. The disc golf course looks great as well. (I did not try it)

The bridge is out so you have to take a detour . It’s a nice park to drive through. They have a playground and several picnic pavilions also. We saw a deer grazing on some grass. Many picture opportunities.

Kind of on the edge of town. Nice park. Historical cabin is here. Worth the visit and nice place to spend an afternoon reading.
