This place has hundreds of pieces of hobo memorabilia - from specific locally and nationally known hoboes as well as surprises such as celebrities you had no idea were once hoboes. News clippings, examples of artwork and tramp art, clothing, tools, etc....you know much more about hoboes then when you first visit. The entrance fee is nominal - great learning... More

They have a film about hobo life by actual hobos. Very interesting. There is a yearly national hobo convention in Britt, Iowa since 1900.

The Hobo Museum is small, but when taken in the context of the entirety of the Town of Britt, it is a unique, extremely engaging, and highly authentic view of the past, present and future of the fading hobo lifestyle.
