Great wee course

It's a well kept challenging course with rapid greens , good food friendly staff and well stocked golf shop . Booked through tee off times for a bargain 13 pounds . Will go back

I've played here as a guest a few times over the last few months and have enjoyed the experience every time. The course is quite short compared to many other courses, having 5 par 3's and no par 5's, but that doesn't detract from the challenge. There are no two holes the same and it's completely out in the countryside... More

The phrase "hidden gem" is over-used, but it really is appropriate for Balmore, a friendly club tucked away in a rural setting a few miles west of Kirkintilloch. Every hole is different, with prominent features being tiered tees, a menacing stream, uphill/downhill fairways and well-placed bunkers. A photogenic course, my camera did overtime, particularly on the par 3s. Although not... More

fabulous course, very well maintained, lovely flower beds just starting to bloom, well kept paths and pretty bridges, pity about my golf! We got a smashing deal for our day out, if i had to be critical, the food was just ok, which was a shame, i think home made food would be more appetizing on the menu, though the staff... More

Great golf course. Short but by no means a push over if the wind picks up! Greens run very true and the service from the club is great. Played the open recently and was run tremendously. Everyone is very friendly and the bar maids are great which is a bonus. :)

I have played Balmore G.C. many times but recently returned to play their Gents Open competition. The course is always very well presented and is a great but fair test of golf. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Food is always good. Great course for an outing. Has a great combination of being a quality golf course without being... More

I've been a member at Balmore Golf Club for about 4 years now, having previously been at Cochrane Castle GC from many years through my childhood and youth. Balmore Golf Club is a haven of tranquility set amongst some of the finest countryside in the the central belt. With just one little country track road into the course, it is... More
