It was not on our "to-do" list, but we spent a delightful couple of hours in this museum. It describes a lot of the history of the area, and has a fascinating exhibit on the Beverly Shores community. The former jail cells are particularly interesting.

A little history but more about the lake shore than the rest of Porter County. Would have liked more about the history of the entire county. Some interesting displays but we were done in 15 min.
