We brought our grandchildren here for an outing. The trains are the star of the show. They operate outside and the landscaping reflects different settings. Our grandson especially was very impressed.

Lovely tranquil place to visit. Staff were around but were quite happy to leave to to mooch around. They had the uncanny knack of knowing when you wanted to ask a question. Well worth a visit

We did not see an owl at Talltree, but you can see (and pet) Saw-whet owls at the Indiana Dunes State Park. Check out their website for info. It's pretty amazing!
