Rum village

It's a good place to get away and relax in south bend. They have paths to walk down and a disc golf course you can play with friends.

This is a great park for a short hike in the tall trees. The park offers more than hikes including mountain bike trails, playgrounds, Frisbee golf course, and zip lines.

This is a great way to spend a few hours. The course is both fun and challenging. The staff really stays on top of things to help and encourage when needed.

The ropes course is fun & invigorating. Bonus: you don't feel like you're working out, but it's certainly great exercise. There are varying levels of difficulty, from beginner to advanced. The staff is very friendly and safety minded. Some ropes courses at the advanced level rely upon utilizing upper body strength. That's not the case at Rum Village. Instead, I'd... More

We had a great time doing the new ropes course. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and fun and the course itself is great. I've done lots of these aerial ropes courses before and this met our expectations: stating basic and working up to challenging so that it is great for beginners and more experienced people. Water and bug... More

This is a fantastic city park for a mid-sized Midwestern city. Nature trails, a nature center, disc golf, plenty of space to run &/or play.

Used to go here sledding with my parents way way long time ago.Drove past it the other day, on my way to collect some rent. Used to have a nice zoo in it. Guess it got kinda wierd in the 80's and 90's, but I think it is ok now.Looks great. Has a frisbee gof course in it.

This park used to be a really nice family park. I grew up going to the park for church activities and many others. There was a small zoo and lots of picnic areas. The zoo was eliminated MANY years ago. There is a disc golf course and some great mountain bike trails. Just do not go alone or at night.

Rum Village is probably my favorite park in the south bend area. I can usually be found there at least once a week in the summer! They have an excellent roughly 7 mile mountain bike trail that is one of the more challenging ones around and a quality 18 hole disc golf course that just got some nice new signage... More

The city of South Bend does a good job of maintaining Rum Village Park. The nature and bike trails are lovely, but the advice I received was to never venture onto them alone and it's the advice I give to people. Cell phone service can be spotty because of all the trees. There's a bit of a suspicious element who... More
