This just a beautiful bridge. During the week there is almost no one there and everything did seem to be closed. PM for best photos.

Great photo opportunity with easy access to the bridge. The mill was historically interesting with friendly people and a nice gift shop with made in the mill flour and mixes.

Walked over the bridge; viewed a beautiful setting decorated by nature. Booths showed the talents of crafts people. Nice offerings and enjoyable to walk around. Downside; The Main Street was busy with vehicle traffic, making that section difficult for pedestrians.

This is my 4th year and my husband's 35th. Lots to see, contemplate, buy and eat. This is an experience with yard sales and flea markets on the roads leading between Rockville, Mansfield and Bridgeton. Bring food walking shoes and dress for the weather. You...More

A lovely spot next to the old mill in Bridgeton with water cascading down beside it. I was a little disappointed to discover that it was built in 2006 and never actually used unlike many of the other old covered bridges in the area.

A must see for thr historical traveler. Many workers and just visitors know a lot of history about the area. Everyone in the area was very nice.

There are 30 or so covered Bridges in the area and so can spend 1 or2 days visiting. We stayed in Terre Haute which was about 25 miles to the South and had a great time

The mill still operates. The little town doesn't have much and you could make a quick visit that is great for photos.

Nice bridge to see. Great pictures. Nice little place. There is a little playground for kids. Don't think anything much is open during the off season but if you are there to look at the bridge it's a good setting.

Mary, the festival is from 10/13-10/22. It will be very crowded so get a map and start driving early. Hard to find close lodging at such a late date.

At the Bridgeton Covered Bridge, a little community is there and one of the stores is the old mill, which has an outdoor patio/cafe and is right next to the bridge. There is also a pull off right before you go pass the... More
