We live about 2 hours from here but try to make it several times throughout the year... We love the trails, the spread out layout so it's not too crowded... And of course the village that takes you back in time. If you're a lover of history, hiking and fun this park is a must see!

Awesome state park. Good campground, plenty of places for kids to play, top notch hiking trails, and the pioneer village is a MUST!

This park has so much to offer. The hiking trails are great and easy enough for most people. They have a calendar of events that has all kinds of interesting things to do for every age group.

I live 5 miles away & go here almost daily for a hike. Spring Mill is a precious treasure! Anybody who can't find something here to enjoy just needs to move on to the big city. If you're all about shopping you won't find that much. But if you love American history, woodsy hiking with huge trees, picnicking, camping, fishing... More

I visited here as a child, and now I'm bringing my granddaughter here. She enjoyed the Pioneer Village, but had more fun just looking for unusual rocks in the creek. She found this one & kept it because she thought it looked like a Dorito. My brother who went with us, painted it & made it into a special souvenir... More

It poured rain the day we went to the park, so it was a cozy night to spend indoors. We walked a closed Pioneer Village on Monday, and had fun peeking in the windows and reading about the village. Much of our 4 days and nights we spent in the inn just relaxing and enjoying the unhurried ambience of the... More

Sorry you did not enjoy it this year even though we had more volunteers to scare people and more scary scenes for our visitors to enjoy. Unfortunately not every one enjoys our Haunted Village and we work every year to try to improve it. Thanks for review. More

Camped at the campground. Our site was pretty good, although the campground in general is kind of confusing and not marked well. I got lost from our site while walking the dogs at night and couldn't find my way back. I knew our site number but nothing was labeled to guide me in the right direction. Also another pet peeve... Glad you enjoyed your stay here at Spring Mill! We have marked all pedestals with the campsite # and we make sure all our campers get a campground map when they register at the gate so they do not get confused, sorry that it was still confusing to you. We also apologize for any inconvenience about the water hookup but... More

Springmill State Park has many activities for families in the months of September and October. The candlelight Village, Haunted Village, Haunted Campground and several fall activities at the primitive village. Great place to camp or stay at the Springmill Inn. The lake has just re-opened after being dredged and cleaned to allow for small paddleboats, canoes and kayaks. Beautiful scenery... More
