Amazing pole barn in a country setting where you can relax by a beautiful stone fireplace with a glass of wine in the cold months. And in the summer there is plenty enough outside sitting around the barn or by the little pond. And if you come hungry no worries many food selections. Also on Sundays live music. So if... More

You might have to have a little sense of humor about the wines...They're getting better, but still not outstanding quality. Six bucks a glass, bottle prices are pretty good, You can get an excellent cheese plate for ten dollars, or a sampling of sausages and cheeses for a little more--interesting and excellent. There's local talent guitar/vocalist on Sunday afternoons, sports... More

The winery has great food and a wonderful selection of their very own wines. It is nice to sit outside on the patio, in the back by the pond with all the dragonflies or in any of the rooms inside which create an element of comfort. There is live entertainment which is always very good and special promotional events. The... More

I have been there for a community function and was supposed to get two free glasses of wine with our tickets, but only received one. Disappointed about that. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wine is average, although I am not a wine expert. Very nice inside and relaxing.

So we host many fundraising events to 'do good' within the community. This particular organizer advertised an incorrect number of glasses of wine for the event, not the fault of the winery! As this reviewer confesses that 'I am not a wine expert', not sure why they are doing a wine review! But I agree, the inside of the winery... More

Visited Shady Creek with friends for the 5.00 for 5 tastes. The little place is quaint and staff friendly. They get their grapes from California after 1st fermentation and then make their own blends. Fun visit, however we did not purchase any wine.

This is a friendly down to earth winery. Plain gray building on outside, offers five tastings for $6. Can purchase various cheese/disagree trays for $10 as well as glasses of wine. Can eat upstairs or outside. Offer semi sweet and dry wines, at least 15. Pourers are friendly. Nice place, have music on Sunday afternoon
