While I have lived in Indiana all my life, this was our first visit. I must say I was a little reluctant about going, but I was very impressed. Has a lot to offer. Tubing seemed to be one of the main attractions.

Sometimes it’s a good idea to get away from the city. The place provides simple trails to difficult trails where you climb but overall was a great experience. Loved the place

LOVE THIS PLACE!! It is in the middle of nowhere and you would not believe it is out here. I read about it in a travel magazine. It cost $9.00 to enter the park for out-of-state plates. Go to the visitor's center to park and...More

Turkey Run State Park is my favorite place to spend time outdoors in Indiana. It has 11 trails of varying difficulty that pass through hilly, rocky woods along Sugar Creek. The views are stunning. Trails 3 and 9 were our favorites. You can rent kayaks,...More

Awesome State Park with many hiking trails from moderate to rugged in the beautiful Sugar Valley. Hike up boulders, waterfalls and creeks. Many stairs and even a spot with ladders. Too beautiful to describe, it's an experience one should do. There is an inn on...More

Do these trails count as entry level canyoneering? The hiking was awesome. There is plenty of difficulty on the trails, so those used to flat, groomed paths will find something different. I went to the far end of the 9, using several other trails on...More

Nice hike today at Turkey Run State Park. We were amazed that there didn't seem to be a lot of people there! Or, at least we didn't run into a lot of hikers. Very beautiful scenery!

I had an awesome day taking a solo hike at Turkey Run. Ended up doing five trails. Since all of the rain we had the past few weeks, there are a lot of freshly fallen trees to climb over and that made the hike even...More

I really love the hiking trails at this park. There are some areas where I feel like I am in the Smokey Mountains. The scenery is just so beautiful here. Walk the trails and have fun. You can rent canoes close by and see the...More

Spring Mill State park is beautiful. Brown County is also very nice. Shades State park is close to Turkey Run, but there is no inn at that park. Shades has trails with stairs, ladders and along Sugar Creek very pretty in the... More

The Inn is largely wheelchair accessible. A few areas, some guestrooms, are inconvenient or inaccessible. There is an elevator to the upper level, and ramps for building access. The trails are largely inaccessible. There is... More
