Wonderful park. The Inn is cozy and what you think of as a state park. Wonderful view of the river, great hiking.

The inn is very modern and nice. We had a river view room and we spent a lot of time watching the barges or the street traffic in downtown Madison all from out room. The view at night is really nice. We try to get walking exercise every day. I was able to get over 11,000 steps in the park... More

Snow's on the ground, but the sun's out. Grab the boots, hats, and gloves and enjoy the views at this beautiful state park. Deep ravines, limestone cliffs, and frozen water. Very few other visitors, except some deer. Day-long smile!

With all the rain we were able to walk and see the falls.Be sure to wear good walking shoes. Trails were muddy but so worth the walk to the falls.

It was below zero and snowing, roads closed and the park bare trees. Bundled up and walked anyway. Pretty and I see the attraction of the place. Would lime to come back in Spring or fall.

Although, we were in the park during the dead of winter, the park still holds some natural beauty. The falls were frozen and it was a very dreary day when we drove through the park but we enjoyed the scenery. We saw two deer and the cliffs were interesting. There are many lookout points for pictures.

We took a drive from the Evansville area and met friends from Henderson, KY for a 3 day weekend of RV camping. The campground has trees around the periphery but very few trees in the middle. Bath houses are basic, but we didn't use them much. The end of October is popular at the park for leaf peepers, so I... More
