Conny's horses are not your typical riding school horses, but are more like your own horse, with personality, and willingness to please. They are very well behaved and a pleasure to ride. The views from the top of the ridge are magnificent. I highly recommend Horse Haven to anyone who wants a lovely ride and good companionship.

I booked horse riding for my wife and daughter. When I called to enquire on the morning as there was showers and they were nearly there. I was told that I needed to confirm the night before for horse riding. That they needed notice to get the horses ready. I suggested that maybe I should have been told this. The... More

I went on the 2 hour ride with my daughter, and we both loved it. Conny's horses are so kind, and she is a wonderful horsewoman and guide, with stories shared along the ride. If you like horses that are both responsive and have a bit of go, but at the same time make you feel totally safe and secure,... More

Thanks to Connie and her 2 beautiful horses, along with her assistant Bennie, 2 senior (not too old though) beginners had a great experience on our horse ride. We were made to feel extremely comfortable with both horses that have been well trained and are much loved and were very calm throughout the ride. As beginners we were walked only,... More

My partner and I booked 2 weeks ahead for a 2 hour trail ride today (23 Jan 2013) and met our guides /informative instructors (Connie & Bennie) our beautiful mounts, Sutra and La Douce at Horse Haven Farmstay. It was about a 45-50 minute scenic drive south of Hobart. The 4 of us initially rode through farmland before heading high... More

We went horse riding at Horse Haven in April and had a wonderful time. The horses are well loved and very well looked after. It was a really personal ride with the owner of the property Conny and Teddy (the dog), even down to taking the horses back to their paddock. There is a self contained cottage available also, which... More
