Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has been serving up food, fun and fabulous...

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has been serving up food, fun and fabulous live entertainment for everyone since 1973. Located in College Park, the theatre was part of a chain of dinner theatres built by Louisville contractor J. Scott Talbott. It was called "Beef" because of the delicious hand carved roast beef served before the performances, and "Boards" referring to the boards or stage of a theatre. Today, the Indianapolis location is privately owned and the sole remaining Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, entertaining more than 150,000 theatergoers annually. Each season includes professional Broadway shows, plays and acclaimed children's theatre productions by our resident Pyramid Players. But a visit to Beef & Boards is more than just great theatre! We offer a tasty dinner buffet prepared by our in-house executive chef, plus a full-service bar and mouthwatering gourmet desserts. Be sure to stop by the Intermission gift shop for unique gift ideas, and ask about seeing more shows for less through our VIP membership program. Come see why each year more and more people discover the value and quality of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre! Beef & Boards is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the only union for professional actors in legitimate theatre.

We have been here many times over the years. We had season tickets before we had kids. The food is decent and the atmosphere is very comfortable and attractive. We have enjoyed many of the plays that have been presented. My husband's personal favorite is Fiddler on the Roof. We look forward to more shows in the future! The staff... More

We have had season tickets to Beef and Boards for the past two years. We enjoy the plays, which are usually well done and some are excellent. Unfortunately, the food quality at the buffets is consistently mediocre. Although the carved roast beef is what gave the restaurant its name, it is never great. The tables are crowded unless you pay... More

My wife and I went to see My Fair Lady at Beef & Boards in Indianapolis for her birthday. We were promptly shown to our table with a good view of the stage and then were invited to the buffet. We both had salads, roast beef, veggies, mashed potatoes & drinks. ( We had coffee & ice tea because we... More

We saw my Fair Lady. Dinner was plentiful and tasty for mass produced. Seating spacious; I did not feel at all crowded and the view was good. Play was very enjoyable. Went with MIL who is in a wheelchair and facility is very accessible.

We visited for My Fair Lady. The entire experience was pure delight. The hostesses, office and food staff are friendly and accommodating. Our server, Stacy, was worth the 100% tip we gave her. The food was delicious, the coffee always at the ready, and plenty of choices for those of us with special dietary needs. And, the performance! Bravo! Eddie... More

I have been to several musical venues there, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Mickey Gilley. We are getting ready to see a musical "Broadway type thing". Decent food, comfortable seating and pleasant atmosphere.

I love the variety of shows offered. This is special treat with a buffet included. They are wonderful to help a person if getting to & from the buffet is difficult to manage steps. They do offer shows for children also. We have enjoyed their Christmas show. I would recommend getting tickets early for good seats. I do not like... More

Excellent venue for dinner and a show! Easy ticketing process, small gift shop, and a variety of seating choices. The usher and waiters are very attentive. The buffet is nicely done. Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat was a wonderful, high energy performance with lots of professional talent and colorful costumes. Order tickets early for best seating options.

This venue is way too small for the noise level @ how many people they CRAM into such a small space. Me ears are still ringing from last nights performance. It's a good thing we got a table for 2, otherwise it would have been REALLY BAD. Also there were significant audio problems with scratchy/static speakers. At one point, one... More

Great place to eat and see a show. We love it there and will come back for sure. It's a little cramped but worth the time and money.
