Had a few hours to kill today and thought to visit the museum. Nice spot, learned a thing or two about the area especially the amount of ongoing digs for fossels. Much smaller that NYC museums​ but nice just the same.

This is a great museum that is also on the canal. It is a great place to spend the day and learn about Indiana. The IMAX movies there are also great!

This museum is very large and has a lot of interesting historical artifacts. It's not a place I would take kids under about 5 or 6. Not much there for young kids. Although, my son rode the holiday train, so that was fun.

Building is limestone & features all Indiana counties & what they are noted for. Inside is facade of school 105..I taught there! IMAX is a big draw as well.

A must see for those visiting Indianapolis. There are many different display areas from early Indiana to the African American Experience.

As soon as you turn off of W Washington into the museum (California St, I believe), you will make an immediate left into the parking garage. If you look on Google Maps, Turner Garden sits on top of the parking garage. Hope... More
