We thoroughly enjoyed our Mass Ave Food Tour last weekend. We learned a lot about the Lockerbie Square neighborhood and interesting history about Indianapolis. Our tour stopped at the Rathskellar for a sampler platter of German food, the James Whitcomb Riley house, Lockerbie Pub for pork tenderloin sliders/fried pickles/local beer, Mimi Blue's for meatballs, and Best Chocolate in Town for... I booked a private tour Mass Ave. food tour for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time. We spent a little under three hours learning more about Indianapolis history and neighborhoods, walking around, and trying a ton of delicious food. Even those of us from Indy really enjoyed learning more about our city in a new and different way.... More

This is a tour that I would recommend to all visitors. The food was awesome and a different cuisine at each stop. The time spent at each venue was great allowing for adequate time to eat without feeling rushed and allowed you time to get to know the other people on the tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and very... More

We received this food tour experience as a Christmas gift, and were not disappointed, though we were a bit surprised that just 2 of the stops were actually on Mass. Ave. We had entire plate of food at the Rathskellar Restaurant (bring your appetite!!), a mini tour of the James Whitcomb Riley house, a visit to Lockerbie Bar for beer... More

We received this as a Christmas gift and some friends joined us for a weekend of fun in Indianapolis. The tour was sold out and we weren't sure what to expect, but we needn't have worried. The group of 13 quickly got to know each other. Our guide Dani was friendly and knowledgeable, and was attentive to everyone. Do not... More

The tour itself was great and our guide was wonderful. Everyone was super nice everywhere we went. If you do not like German food .. Keep that in mind. We did try lots of neat things and got a great history lesson. (I only marked this as average because we didn't like the German food - so if you do... More

The Indy Food tour was tons of fun on a Saturday afternoon. We added the drink package as part of the celebration for our daughter's birthday. Amy our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Mass Ave area and the restaurants. She offered lots about the history and architecture, but provided the perfect mix of fun and information. We loved... More

I did this tour alone, but not for long, as the other two couples became fast friends! Molly the tour guide was a lot of fun and very informative, and was patient as we were all chatting and made the tour run over time! Don't eat lunch before this tour (it starts at 3pm) - because there is a ton... More

Our group of 8 adults had a wonderful experience at three unique restaurants (Bakersfield, Barcelona Tapas, Chef Joseph). Our walking guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the area and its architecture.
