The Artsgarden is connected to the Circle Center Mall and sits as an elevated overpass over Washington and Illinois Streets. It is almost entirely windows so on a sunny day it is filled with light. Occasionally there is live music and other events but most of the time it is just an open space with tables and chairs. It's an... More

This was kind of interesting design for the building. It is actually right over the street. But you cannot hear the traffic. The day I was there a band was playing. It was a great way to kill time.

At the end of the Circle City mall, take a left, and walk above the busy intersection into the Arts Garden. Quiet spot to sit and relax, or listen to the occasional musical entertainment. Then take the south-west exit down to the Rhythm Discovery Center to bang on an amazing array of percussion instruments and view their exhibits of historical... More

Okay so I didn't even know this was here . We lucked in to walking in and it's just beautiful and like a small oasis of peace in the midst of city chaos . So beautiful !

I never understood what the big deal is with the Arts Garden. There never seems to be any art or anything else located here and is simply a walk through on the way to the Hyatt. No place to sit, eat or anything to see.

for many, this is just a pass through to get to the mall from offices to the north. The various art displays and concerts make it worth slowing your walk and enjoying the experience.

Don't go out of your way to visit. From the street it looks really cool so while we were at the mall, we decided to check it out. We only spent a few minutes here. You can look out over the street and there was a very small art display. Very unimpressive on the inside.

This is a popular venue for Christmas band and choir concerts during December, and for other musical groups to perform from time to time. It is attached to the downtown shopping mall, restaurants and hotels, and close the food court in the mall, so it is a good "rest stop" for shoppers and visitors to the downtown area.

They usually display award winning art made by our city's most talented and promising elementary school children. They have benches so you can sit down and gaze out of the towering glass windows and soak in the streets of Indianapolis below. Sometimes they have music during the lunch hour; it's hit or miss.

I love the Arts Garden over the Christmas season. It is so pretty and bustling with activity. We were there for some great free singing of Christmas carols by youth. It's a great place to take lunch and enjoy how pretty it is and the music is an added bonus. The Arts Garden is also connected to Circle Centre Mall... More
