Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s an amazing building with so much woodwork and interesting history. We had a great tour guide. It was his first tour since Covid and we appreciated how nice he was an answered our many questions.

The scale and scope of this building is impressive....worth the time. The organization is still alive and well.

Ok so unless you pay for a tour with a guide you ain’t getting in. I was will8ng to pay an entrance fee but all locked up and the security guy said you can’t. So disappointed for sure…it’s beautiful architecture and even from the outside is worth to look at.

Beautiful Building! My husband is a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, so it was a real treat to see! We couldn’t tour the inside due to a wedding going on but the outside was amazing. We also walked around the corner to the Masonic Lodge. But due to it being a Sunday, no one was there

Lunch here is good.....but the building is excellent. Be sure to ask if a tour is possible. Also, there is a room off of the lunch area that a group to book for a group luncheon.

Living in Louisville with family in Indy, I have driven by this building dozens and dozens of times. So we decided to take a guided tour. Fascinating building with a long history.

excellent tour of an historical building filled with symbolism and history. tour guides are members who are steeped in masonry. laced with humor but all good info. this is a gorgeous bldg. evidence of repairs needed but the grandness is there. a ballroom on heavy duty springs so you can dance the night away? oh, the thought that was put into this bldg.

The Cathedral was not what I expected. Very interesting just the same. So glad that we stopped. The tour guide gave a great talk about the use and history of the building.

We had no idea this Cathedral was here! As the granddaughter of a Mason, this was an especially meaningful find. And truly beautiful, too!

This is an interesting stop if you have time. I would recommend lining up a tour. I don't know if you can just drop in. The tour is very good and the architecture is amazing. You will not be disappointed if you like marble and nice wood-work. It is amazing though that every famous American was a Mason!
