The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is a fabulous place for grandparents and grandchildren. The constant displays quickly become favorites. My four year old grandchildren head right to Playscape. My older grandchildren head to the dinosaur display, where one of my grandchildren is a volunteer. The traveling exhibits always please the kids. Do not forget to ride the carousel.

Our kids liked it as well. Go go there sometimes for a small family get away. The last time we went, the had the Transformers. It was very entertaining. Alot of neat stuff here. I do feel, if you have children, this is a must see. They will enjoy it.

So much to see, so many people here!! I would recommend going on an "off" day, so that you can really enjoy the museum. There was so much to see, and what I LOVED about the museum was the interactive nature. Scientists were available to talk about real-life science jobs/work with us in almost every part, and every time we... More

We came down to Indianapolis for the day to see a traveling exhibit at the children's museum. Everything was great for the most part- price was decent, because you didn't have to pay to see the shows at the exhibits throughout. The food in the food court was good, though expensive (as it usually is at places like this.) The... More

We visited from England and this is by far the best children's museum we have been to. My 5 year old loved it. She enjoyed all of the areas we visited and even had an art class! We both got to create a picture to take home - she really enjoyed it. She particularly liked the space area and the... More

Overall, our kids had a great time. We have young children, so the 10 am opening time didn't give us much playtime before everyone became sleepy for nap time. Most of the exhibits are geared toward kids 5 and up, so we spent most of our time in the baby/toddler play zone. It was over $120 for us to get... More

We had 3 people in our group. 1 -17 year old 1-49 year old and 1 -81 year old. We all had a great time. First you walk in and in the parking garage and enterance there are 2 statues to look at. They have several nice exhibits. Dinosaur, space, outside, science, Ryan, Ann Frank and Ruby ( I think... More
