An old fashion walk back in time. Old fashion concessions and b level cult movies. A great fun interactive family activity. Nice to see history preserved rather than torn down. A must visit place to discover. Right in recently restored and updated center of town....More

The movie selection is diverse, the popcorn is delicious, and the quirky and fun pre-show games and skits are so quaint. Be aware that some shows sell out so to avoid disappointment you can order on line. The chairs haven't been refurbished so you may...More

Best movie theatre around. The prices are super low and the volunteer staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Not only do the movies they show bring a little piece of nostalgia but so does the theater itself. They show an old cartoon before each movie along with playing The National Anthem. Before the movie starts they entertain the audience, when we went and...More

Let yourself be drawn into the theatre of old. Great feeling inside, roomy seating, nostalgic movies.

Once upon a time, all American towns (at least in the mid-west) had a theater much like the Artcraft. Sadly, most have been torn down in the name of "progress." But not in Franklin! A group of local folks have put a ton of sweat...More

Just walked into this lovely piece of antiquity to see Key Largo in black and white. This group is doing a fantastic job to restore this movie theater to its original grandeur. Nearly 100-years-old, this theater boasts a true stage with a cute introductory act...More

We have enjoyed this iconic theater for 39 years. The Historic Society is constantly upgrading things. Recently they replaced a swamp cooler with AC and repaired the lovely marquee. The seats need replacing, and we hope this is on their list of projects. It is...More

We've been a few times at Christmas but this was our first non holiday show. We enjoyed a bit of the pre show antics but the cartoon before the main movie started 36 minutes later. TOO MUCH
