Even after living in Fort Wayne for nearly 20 years, the FW Children's Zoo is still a request whenever we have visits from out of state family members. You can spend the whole day or it's easy to go for just a couple of hours by deciding ahead of time which area (African Veldt, Indonesian Rainforest or Australian Adventure) to... More

Constantly improved and getting better all the time! We love this zoo more than the one in Indianapolis or Cincinnati. The different regions are fun to explain to my stepdaughter and the rides are good as well- except for the sky ride. Save your money on that one unless you like looking at the tops of trees and seeing a... More

We have been visiting the zoo for 20 years now and I have to say that this zoo gets better with each year. The latest updates to the Australian exhibit are wonderful. I think the best feature of this zoo is that even if the zoo is super crowded that you don't feel overwhelmed by people. Attractions are so well... More

I grew up close to Ft. Wayne and have been to this zoo many times. I have also been to other big zoos (Indy, Chicago) and I really think they are no comparison. This zoo is well run and there are so many different things to see! If you learn the ropes on saving money, it makes for a wonderful... More

Its exactly a children's zoo. Smaller size so great for a day with little ones. Very hands on. The new exhibits (barrier reef) are great. We really enjoy the primate area.

I have come to this zoo since i was a child, visited with my children. it was about two to three weeks after opening, a good few of the exhibits were still not open, the petting zoo was missing some animals, but the goats were excellent. The rainforest was awesome, the giraffes were okay. I saw a few animals that were... More

I've lived here my whole life and have many great memories at the zoo. My husband and I (we're in our 20s) got a zoo membership this year for our first time, which is a great value for your money. We can go as many times as we'd like. It's an awesome way to spend time outside and enjoy animals.... More

A few weeks ago, the zoo unveiled Phase III of the Australia renovation. It is much brighter than before and the decor reminds me of Disney. There is a new splash area and Tasmanian Devils are coming in a few weeks. We enjoyed the updates.

I've been going to the zoo since I can remember, and I still go occasionally as an adult. It continues to change and evolve, but there are many parts that stay the same and feel familiar every time I go back. The rides are fun. My favorite is the Sky Line, one of the newer rides, but I equally enjoy... More
