The place is monstrous and geared for you to spend absurd amounts of money on trinkets. They did however have very good ice cream and their display of the production facilities was interesting. If you want to have an upscale Farm-to-Table dinner, and sped $50-$75/ person, go here. They even charge to ride a bus to see the cows

I've had visiting this farm on my bucket list for several years. We included it in a trip from North Carolina to Notre Dame for football game. It was as much fun as the football game and our team won! This farm is simply amazing. It is spotless and the staff is superb! My favorite part was seeing a calf... More

About 45 minutes south of Merrillville on 65 south, They have Huge signs on the way there. I was slightly disappointed, The restaurant is a huge room with a vaulted ceiling, big fireplace and plenty of tables and booths. The staff was friendly and efficient but when you sit in a booth look at the wall at the end of... More

I love coming to Fair Oaks Farms. The Dairy Agventure and the Pig Agventure are so fun and educational. I love coming here as much as my kids do. The Cowfe is one of my favorite parts of Fair Oaks. Whenever we are in the area, we stop in for grilled cheese (the best I've ever had!) and ice cream.... More

We did it all at Fair Oaks Farms in one day with an extended family of 10. Three adventures (pig, cow & crop). We saw a calf being born. Kids did the high ropes course. Lunch at Cowfe and dinner at Farmhouse. All of us loved it. Mass appeal to all ages. Great life experiences and great food. We'll be... More

Went with my 18 month old twin grandkids. The pig adventure was perfect for little little ones. Lots of room for them to run around. The windows were low enough for them to see the pigs below without having to be picked up. Lots to do to keep little ones entertained. The cow adventure requires several walk up step and... More

Family friendly and great food too. Nice bar to watch sports at. Excellent steaks and chops but good meatloaf as well.

We stopped for dinner on a Monday night about 6 p.m. on our way home to Chicagoland. The very large main dining room had only about seven tables occupied. There were two of us. I was dressed in nice jeans, a black long-sleeve lace trimmed top and patent leather flats. My husband was wearing jeans, a golf shirt and loafers.... More

Suitable for all ages, this is a beautiful dairy and pig farm. You can see all the things that happen on a farm as well as learn, see a calf or piglet being born. It's a wonderful experience.
