What a nice park and right in the downtown area. I was especially impressed that it was planned with the fact that the area will flood nearly every spring. The plants chosen are flood tolerant and all of the buildings and features were built to...More

Very nice park with plenty of area to walk, a neat observation tower, and a super covered bridge. Need more parking bu the observation tower which has nice views of the park and the city.

It's a nice city park. Great place to get out with the family and fish, walk, playground or lay around and cookout. They also have concerts on occasion.

Stop by the visitor's center before you go to Mill Race Park. That's because knowing the history makes the park so much more interesting. It used to be called 'Death Valley,' due to flooding and the loss of life there. Today, it's a wonderful park...More

Worth a stop to see the beautiful covered bridge. We saw people fishing, walking and just having their lunch. Great outdoor space in the middle of the city center.

If you like to walk or run this is a great place to check out. The trail runs along the river for a few miles. There is a lot of green space along the way and they do have public restrooms.

Hi, we have not paddle boat rentals in this park, however , you can walk, run , and play different sports. Its almost a mile from downtown . I recomend to stay on Indigo Hotel in front crossing the street.

One restroom is between the playground and the pond. It is less than 0.10 of a mile.
