Went over today and had a brilliant time. It was an open cockpit day and we all climbed in the various planes and had a very informative chat with the attendants who explained the planes wonderfully. There was lots of very engaging exhibits and our family thought this well worth the small entrance fee.

My husband is very much into aviation history and we visited last Saturday with our children. I myself found it so interesting, very impressive aircraft. My son loved it and the baby slept through so all perfect!

I love this museum. It's reasonable price to get into and really interesting. Considering the size, it's a good collection spanning the years that Manston was operational. If you get the chance, it's worth making the effort to visit.

We have been to the Spitfire and Hurricane museum many times but have always missed this museum that is on the opposite side of the carpark. It looks quite insignificant from the outside, but is huge inside, with many many areas full of interesting planes and great sets depicting everything from old front rooms to air aid shelters. Well worth... More

For a small fee this museum has everything you would expect of an ex-RAF Airfield museum. I was pleasantly surprised with the number and mixture of aircraft on display and staff were friendly and helpful. With a documented history of the airfield and some very good diaramas and models you can easily spend a couple of hours here.

Worth a visit as plenty to see but not particulary child-friendly. Two recreated rooms, a hut of airmen waiting to "scramble" and a 1940s living room well done but photos just stuck on walls and captions too small to read.

3 hangers bursting with planes, parts of planes, air rescue helicopter etc. You can put your head inside planes which provides an immersive experience. For slickness it can't compete with the Imperial War Museum, however for the range and amount of aircraft paraphernalia it beats it hands down. We will go again in the summer months as today it was... More

Had planned to visit the Hurricane and Spitfire Museum but this was closed over the Xmas holidays but lucky for us this museum was open. Our son loved walking around with the up close views of the displays, especially the out door exhibits. Small entry fee but well worth the price.
