Fun family mountain

This is a great small mountain with something for all the family. We skied with everyone from grandparents to novice little ones and it was fun for us all. The terrain is... read more

Have been twice in 2017. On first visit, lift lines were too long: 20-30 minutes to get on a lift. It was a kids winterpass day apparently, so that's probably why it was so crowded (cheap tickets). We gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back during school vacation week. The lines weren't as long this time but... More

This is a great small mountain with something for all the family. We skied with everyone from grandparents to novice little ones and it was fun for us all. The terrain is entertaining, lift lines short and the lift guys add to the entertainment! We went for a day to try it and went back the next day as we... More

From the dreadlocked general manager to the laid back scene at the Loose Boots, Mt Abram has a vibe apart from most ski areas. This is a friendly, relaxed hill that has none of the crowds, pretension or frenetic pace of Sunday River. And while it doesn't have as much terrain as their big neighbor up the road, the terrain... As a beginner, there is plenty of place to hone my skills, as my husband tackles the more advanced terrain, then later in the day we can take the main lift to the top and I get the accomplishment of runs from the summit on trails that are challenging, but doable. Short lines, great daycare for our toddler and affordable... More

Love this mountain for so many reasons. The ski school is top notch… Experienced, caring teachers. If you are hoping to take a telemark lesson, this is the place to do it. The learning area is it's own section of the mountain, so you don't have a bunch of people hotshotting past your kid who's working on their pizza slices... More

Went to look around and the resort people were super nice and friendly. Although we don't ski, the resort was amazing! The area is beautiful.

Mount Abram is an affordable, friendly staffed, medium-sized mountain to ski. The lift lines are short, the trails are well-groomed, and the mountain offers various types of trails from beginner to expert. I highly recommend this ski resort to anyone searching for a mid-sized mountain with all levels of skiing, yet not wanting to pay a small fortune to ski.

We have been to mt.abram many times and keep going back. The staff is friendly and the prices are cheap. As much as i like sunday river i will go to mt.abram. I do not need to pay $80.00 for a ticket at mount abram. The lifts need to be updated but it is a good family day trip. So... More

We came to Mount Abram when it seemed to be getting crowded at Sunday River. Many of the slopes are named for characters and places from "Rocky & Bullwinkle", which is a bit goofy. And it is more a bare-bones, family-style hill than a big, resort mountain. But the snow was excellent and did not get skied off quite as... More
