We had a very pleasant afternoon here with a lovely walk around the extensive grounds, unfortunately being so early in the year there were very few flowers but you could see the buds of drifts of snowdrops, daffodils, etc., so in a few weeks time I'm sure it will look spectacular. There weren't many horses outside as it was so... More

You couldn't have found a more peaceful, beautiful setting. The time spent there allowed us to unwind and enjoy the majestic beaut of the horses, the surrounding gardens, and even the birds that followed us. We just happened upon this, and we spent most of the day, and then stopped in the little café for some sweets. This was one... More

My family (5 adults) were really entertained by this fun tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. The information about the value and success of the Irish stud was fascinating. The delivery of the information was amusingly suggestive. Honestly, we all laughed so much - and enjoyed seeing the beautiful grounds and magnificent animals.

Whether its the museum or the garden, the fairy homes or the wooden animal sculptures, the horses or the stables, this place has something for everyone. We had a very good young guide who made every aspect of the stud and the gardens sound interesting.

Well worth visiting and the Japanese Gardens is a must. Visited as a kid, later brought my kids years ago and was delighted to re-visit again. Take time to follow the life story. The Stud gives a fantastic insight into the Irish horse industry in a lovely setting and the gardens are very relaxing to stroll. Great to see the... More

We had no idea of what to expect when our tour group visited here. We were all surprised by the picturesque farm and gardens. It was interesting learning about the history and the horse breeding business. We saw beautiful horses grazing in the pretty pastures. Take time to enjoy the Japanese Gardens and also St. Fiachra's Garden. Both were beautiful... More
