Closed to the public for the Winter and will re-open on January 29th 2018. This state-owned commercial stud farm also incorporates the world famous Japanese Gardens and wild Irish St Fiachra's Garden as well as the Irish Horse Museum, Living Legend's, Gift Shop and restuarant. It is also home to some of Ireland's most famous racehorses.

So much to see here--horses, beautiful grounds, Japanese garden and fairy gardens around a pond. Lunch at the cafe was also very good; we sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the scenery.

Hi Mary, According to the Stud's website, "Dogs: Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your pet" Enjoy your visit 👍

There is indeed a café, and the gardens are big enough for a toddler to run him/herself really knackered :) Can't remember the pricing, but once you are in, you can stay for as long as you want.
