We showed up hoping to be able to drive through to check it out. We got turned away at the gate. Seems like a poor practice for a campground. Rock cut state park is down the road, go there.

We stopped here for one night on our return from Minnesota. One of the worst campgrounds I've stayed at. We are in the middle of a field. Not one lousy tree. No shower or bathroom within 1/2 mile. And they had the nerve to charge...More

$10 tank fills for divers is a plus. 56 degree temps in "The Hole" are a minus. Plan on a 7mm wetsuit even at the end of July. Visibility in the afternoon was several feet. It didn't help that the "advanced" diver I was training...More

Visited Pearl Lake for the second time this past weekend and had a great time. We took 7 students over with us and had some fun dives. The visibility was great (20+ feet). Will diffidently go back.

First off, this is ridiculously expensive. The staff is probably the rudest group of people I've ever met. Especially the female owner. Drinks are a total rip off. I think they water down their vodka and charge you arm and a leg for it. The...More

At $15 dollars a person they can keep their Beach! We used to enjoy this beach but not anymore! They also have ridiculously annoying rules with lifeguards constantly blowing their whistles and embarrassing people over the PA. Both my kids have taken swim lessons since...More

Positives: Clean and well maintained, beautiful water, good location. Negatives: Ridiculous admission price, grouchy staff, inconsistent beach rules. And I have to mention the HILLS. I thought maybe I just FORGOT since it had been many years since I had visited - but I showed...More
