Dorney Common is a lovely piece of olde-ye common grazing land bang in the middle of built-up south London conurbations. As you leave Dorney village, at the cross-roads to the Common, Windsor Castle looms large on the horizon and makes a wonderful picture.

A loverly autumn walk was had in a family friendly environment with adequate pushchair facilities and good parking areas and it’s nice to take an enjoyable stroll without having to be expected to pay for the privilege , well worth a visit .
