Interesting Place to Stop

I found the exhibits to be displayed well. We were greeted with a warm welcoming. Obviously there is pride in this Center. I look forward to stopping when I have more time.

There were a lot of interesting things to see, and we especially enjoyed the video. The staff was very friendly, and the granddaughters were really happy to get a certificate to enjoy a free kids' meal at the Colonial Café (which was yummy). We learned some fun things about this beautiful city.

You can get a real sense of the history of St. Charles by stopping in here. And if you're a history geek, they'll definitely feed your need. Besides that, they have some St. Charles souvenirs to take care of the folks back home. Highly recommended for residents and visitors!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and the experience made me a little more connected to St. Charles and that's after 35 years of me and my family being residents.

This museum was very cute. I learned that St Charles was the Pickle capital of the world. I thought it was funny, but I learned it was a great deal. It was awesome to see all their vintage items. It is a very small museum.

An interesting array of memorabilia and explanation of St. Charles history. Small museum that can be seen within an hour.

Kane County Showground Antique toy fair was worth a visit, stalls from all over the state and has been upgraded since the last visit

It was a pleasure to be involved in the recent Re- Dedication of Camp Kane. Both President Lincoln and STC's own Colonel Farnsworth reviewed the 8th Cavalry that was originally encamped on this site during the Civil War. The historic Jones Law Office was recently moved to Langum Park/Camp Kane and fundraising is off and running for the restoration of... More
