Great spot for a cheeky pit stop..

Super spot for a beer whilst watching the waves gentle roll across the pebbles... Nice little find this and definitely made better by the sun shining and clear blue skies...

We we went there when visiting some friends and relations. Its a lovely position with plenty of parking space situated right down on the beach. There was 5 of us and two children, it was comfortable and warm. The staff were very helpful and patient and the food was white large portions. One word to improve would be to have... More

We dropped in here for lunch with a large group of work people. They looked after us and served us quickly. The fish and chips for lunch is HUGE. And lovely. It's almost right on the water. Don't eat in Dover. Go here.

Located right by the sea with glorious views of the ferries and of France on many days. There are great walks to here from Dover and from Walmer. Good start. Planned to attend with family group and though restaurant full we were advised, on thre phone, that we might all fit in the bar. Fortunately, it was sunny and we... More

We live locally & were advised that great improvements had been made to the Pub. New Brewers & staff. Well unfortunately the service did not seem to have changed. The layout is weird & young staff certainly need more training. The locality is simply great & it "COULD" be a goldmine..........

Very friendly staff. Good food & a great atmosphere. This establishment has suffered over the past years, but since being brought up recently by Shephard & Neame & with it's present staff has been turned around completely.

I called here with the dog and the Mrs for a pint, despite 40mph winds, it was pleasant. We sat outside watching some guys sea fishing, just enjoying the momentary breaks of sunshine. The ale I had was good (whitstable bay IPA) and the woman who served me was nice and polite.

This pub has just had a total refurbishment ...and been taken over by Sheoherd Neame a few months ago . Karensa and Tom ,who manage the Zetland Arms in Kingsdown have taken charge of it .....see reviews for Zetland too .....it's fabulous. Same type of food as Zetland,,,so you won't be disappointed . Same service as Zetland ,so no disappointment... More
