A beautiful walk in the park.

The gardens are vast. The sculptures are inviting. The flowers are splendid. The aromas are satisfying. Luthy’s garden excites the imagination by reminding you of simpler times.

Short visit will work fine
May 2021 • Couples
Easy free parking- but lock car and leave nothing visible to avoid break in- this is what they state on sign at entrance.

You enter into greenhouse and then walk into the gardens.

Free admission- contributions appreciated

Near the zoo- could easily be combined for same day visit

Worth a quick visit if in area

Nice gardens
Apr 2021 • Couples
The outdoor gardens were lovely, and had a lot of spring flowers. There's a large variety of trees, which are clearly labeled. The indoor greenhouse has many varieties. The philadendron was huge! I didn't see any employees to answer questions, though.

Nice, could be better with a little attention.

Nice, could be better with a little attention. Would be really pretty when everything was blooming and green. With some general upkeep and maintenance it could be a real gem.

Lovely Respite
Oct 2019
We stopped here for a quick walk while on a road trip. The garden is not large, but is a wonderful respite. Walks are generally paved or wood chipped, though there are grassy areas to wander to, as well. Our favorite area was the herb garden. We could have stayed there much longer.

Small Garden but Nice
Aug 2019
As botanical gardens go, this one was small. But they make good use of the space they do have with good displays and signage. Nice sculptures are sprinkled throughout. And it's Free!

Walking in paradise
Jun 2018 • Couples
We started at the greenhouse. These plants in the greenhouse are huge! There were cacti as well and tropical trees and plants. There were even bananas!

When we walked at the outside, we enjoyed the easy path. We saw so many flowers. Wow!

We even found a dancing fountain. There was also a pond.

We even saw some chess pieces, bigger than normal.

This is a must see, especially since it is free.
Enjoy the many flowers.

Best Kept Secret
Aug 2018 • Couples
This is probably one of the best kept secrets in Peoria and maybe the entire area.

Well taken care of and peaceful in the gardens and walking the paths.

If they would just clean up the surrounding area it would get more stars. It's in the middle of the ghetto and the City of Peoria seems to not care and unwilling to do anything about it. I wouldn't want my wife or family there after about 3pm.

As a facility it is GREAT and highly recommended, just go early.

A lovely place
Jun 2018
This is a lovely well-maintained garden with a fountain. There are benches throuhout the garden . It would be a nice place to sit and read. It took us about 30 mins to wander through.
