Great way to 'meet' this special creature. It is less touristy then the one in Bilar which is an advantage for both the visitors and the Tarsiers! Good explanation about the history and habits.

Tarsiers are cared for and thrive in their natural environment here. As these guys are nocturnal, a guide accompanies each group and points them out in the trees. We saw about 6 and since they don't move around a lot, its easy for the guides...More

We chose to go here instead of the other Tarsier conservation area in Loboc, on the way to the Chocolate Hills ... and I'm really glad we did. You get to see these amazing little creatures up close in their natural environment and feel happy...More

There are so many opportunities to educate your child when you visit the sanctuary. Of course, the guides have plenty of good info (not ours though, but I could hear the stuff the guide with the other group was sharing). They also have plenty of...More

This is the place to go to see Tarsiers up close and in nature and to learn about them. You might get a little muddy, but that's to be expected if you going out into the forest.

There are two places in Bohol to see the tarsiers- Tarsier Sanctuary and Tarsier Conservatory. I chose to check the sanctuary managed by Tarsier Man. I had the opportunity to see the tarsiers up close and take photos. Each tarsier has an assigned person because...More

A quick guided tour through a Bamboo Forest. Was able to get fairly close to these guys, remember to not use a flash when taking photo's as the Tarsiers don't like it (some people did it anyway even though asked repeatedly to stop by the...More

There are several ferry companies that run between Cebu and Bohol. I used the SuperCat ferry that runs three times per day, each way (nice, comfortable fast ferry). The journey takes 2 hours to the Tagbilaran ferry... More

Hi. We are going to visit your sanctuary tomorrow. As the tarsiers are night animals, is it better to visit in the morning or afternoon? We would appreciate quick answer;)

Any time works although tarsiers are more active on night. I suggest afternoon would be better. It will also be less hot on this time. Enjoy! :)
