A place with a history and high quality products!
Aug 2021 • Family
A really great experience, a place with a history where they make high quality organic wines and olive oil. After your guided visit, you can combine a wine tasting with some finger food or lunch, all with local products. Everything was very tasteful. Combined with the stunning views and super nice people this was certainly a highlight during our trip!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Jun 2021
If I could rate this a 6/5, I would!! Cristina was so knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, and simply a pleasure to be around. The entire time we were there, it was all so informative - from touring the olive oil press to explaining the process of harvesting, to seeing the barrels of wine. We learned a lot about olive oil and wine in its entirety and appreciate it all so much more now. The wine tasting itself and Cristina's stories behind some of the wines were fascinating. You could truly tell that she loves what she does and enjoys passing on the knowledge to others. If we ever come back to the Lucca region, we will make sure to stay there for a few nights and certainly have another tasting!

Wine tasting

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience. Our host was very experienced and gave a lot of history of the vineyard and wines themselves. We would recommend the tour to others.

Wine tasting and tour
Sep 2019 • Couples
A beautiful and relaxing setting for wine tasting and tour. You can do 3 or 5 wine tasting and/or a tour of the olive and vineyard at this place. I would recommend doing both, together it cost about €30 and was definitely worth it. The lady who showed us round and looked after us was lovely and really knowledgable. I would book in advance, it’s really easy to book - just email as per their website!

A wonderful day trip from Lucca by bicycle
Jul 2019 • Family
We researched where we might be able to go and enjoy a wine tour, travelling by bike from Lucca. We arrived fairly early at the Fattoria and we were told we could join a tour at 11:30 and asked if we might want to stay for lunch and a wine tour. We were not disappointed!

We really enjoyed some wonderful hospitality, Christina was very friendly, informative on the tour, and helpful.

We travel often, and would absolutely recommend Fattoria Colle Verde for a relaxed wine tasting over lunch.

(I was also pleased to be able to practice my Italian. So often, when people realise the rest of my family only speak English - or they realise they speak English better than I speak Italian - the conversation quickly turns to English. Christina was very patient and accommodating of my Italian.)

Wine... Yes please
May 2019 • Family
Just below our Villa was this little Vineyard making its own Wine and Olive oil.
Booked in for a taster session and tour, but we picked the day of torrential rain... so inside tour of the presses, barrels and tasting.
5 wines White and Red with a lovely Cheese board to end.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made this a lovely few hours .... Brilliant view as well.

Couldn’t be bothered

Sign clearly said open but when I arrived they looked at me and said closed. I biked there from Lucca and wanted to sample their wine and olive oil. But evidently they look you over before deciding whether to serve you.

Spectacular views with amazing wines and olive oil
Sep 2018 • Friends
We were on a cruise and had scheduled a private tour for the day to visit Pisa and Lucca. During the day we decided we wanted to go do a wine tasting and our guide suggested Fattoria Colle Verde as they offered wine tastings, as well as, tours of their wine and organic olive oil factory.

The vineyard and olive groves have the most spectacular views. The estate dates back to the 16th century during the medieval and renaissance period and the wine and olive oil produced from this land have distinctive tastes that are top notch. The tour of the olive oil factory was very informative and I learned everything I needed to know about organic olive oil including how to properly taste it. Won’t be buying olive oil from Sam’s Club anymore!

After the olive oil tour, we were taken on a tour of their wine making facility where you definitely experience and explore those very old buildings from the 16th century. Afterwards we sat down on the veranda and enjoyed our wine tasting. Their organic red and white wines are fantastic! We took our time, soaked up the views, and enjoyed tasting and learning about the different wines in the Italian countryside.

Of course we had to take some wine and olive oil home with us and they have a small retail store to make purchases. Marianna was very helpful and got everything we asked for. As a note they do offer shipping and you can buy online.

Overall it was truly was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend a visit! Drinking wine, relaxing, and looking out at the beautiful views....what more would you want?!?

Interesting wine/olive oil tour and relaxing tasty lunch
Aug 2018 • Friends
We were a group of 23 who did the tour and lunch, including 13 children. The guide made it interesting and educational and kept all the children engaged. Food was relaxing with great wine, we bought plenty. Communication in advance was excellent and they even organised a bus to collect us and drive us home again.
