Had a great tour, the tour guide asked us where we were from, replied Mexico...he did an about face and walked away. Stay away from this racist place

A beautifully restored Frank Lloyd Wright creation, in current use. Our tour guide, David, was very dialed into the esthetic and history and taught us lot we didn't know. One of our best FLW experiences, and we've had many. Highly recommend to anyone interested in...More

The over 100 year old Unity Temple restoration was completed last summer at a cost of over $25million. Amazing. Our guide, Frank, was fantastic. No detail was spared by the restoration staff-windows, wood, flooring ~~everything was redone masterfully.

The recent $28 million renovation was well with it in making this FLW gem work so well and show Wright’s genius in a very special Unitarian house of worship.

Do not miss this when visiting Oak Park .... even when under construction. Lots of light and layers of textures inside.

The self-guided audio tour was well-worth the time. The building makes several terrible mistakes common to church architecture -- hiding the entrance, making it difficult to those not "on the inside" to figure out where to go and what to do, focusing the building (and...More

The prairie style architecture of a church done early in the 20th century was very interesting. The details of the design are very impressive.

The exterior seems stark to me, but the interior spaces, newly restored, are elegant, simple, and beautiful. If you love architecture and in in Oak Park, you should definitely visit this Frank Lloyd Wright creation.

Recently finished was a total refurb of Wright's jewel of faith. A must-see when in Oak Park. His definition of public spaces maintains some of the Wright touches you see in homes but there is so much more that only applies to a public bldg.Take...More

Yes the building is typically open until noon on Saturdays but I'd open to the Public for services on Sunday. Check online for your availability with FLA trust for tours and Unity Temple for services
