I believe it is the biggest slope in Europe. Athletes are practicing there year around and we witnessed them jumping on those slopes in September. It was just breathtaking! And cross country ski athletes were practicing there going up and down the road.

We went with our holiday group and our tour manager explained the importance of ski jumping to Slovenia and how well they do at it. It’s quite something to stand below the jumps, you can’t imagine how Eddy the Eagle was brave enough to attempt...More

You can go on the top of Latalnica for free! It is stunning but scary! There are 7 or 8 ski jumping objects here with the biggest one. All surrounded by beautiful mountains. Free parking. Nice museum with shop.

This is an amazing facility for year-round ski jumping practice. There must have been about six ski jumps, with most being utilized. The slope downward was metal / Teflon-like, and the landing was artificial turf. It was amazing seeing fully-suited jumpers (with helmets!) doing some...More

We biked here in summer. There was no snow. Yet, someone was jumping. You can climb stairs to the top of the ski jumps for what is probably a great view. There is a museum. As we looked around, two hikers from Great Britain stopped...More

We walked to the Nordic centre and the scale of the ski jumps takes your breath away. There are different sized jumps including the highest in the world. You can walk to the top of this if you want then catch an exhilarating zip wire...More

We were in Planica in February. We were lucky to have some activity going on as well. There was a ski jumping organization for teenagers from different countries which made our visit much more fun.
