Beautiful!

Bring your picnic lunch and family to enjoy the natural setting among nature. This, as a child, was my youngest child's FAVORITE place.

We went here with our kids and grandkids for the Christmas Decorations & light show. It was soooo beautiful. Everyone loved it!! They even had hot chocolate available for purchase about 1/2 way through. Many different lighting configurations. We were so glad we went. It was well worth the money and the cold weather we had to bear. We bought... More

We took an annual membership for arboretum. With this you can visit many of the other parks and arboretums all over the country. So it is worth it. People who love to walk and spend time with nature will enjoy here. It is suitable for all age groups. Dont forget to wear your sports shoes. Ask for a map of... More

Right in the middle of the suburbs is the location of a great arboretum situated on 1,700 acres. We went in early March so it wasn't the best time of year. Maybe another time of year it would get a 5 rating. There is a wide variety of trees and shrubs. In season it probably has wonderful flowers. The walking... More

There are miles of trails for walking, you can bike on the roads and the collection of trees and plants is extensive. Classes are held year round on plant related subjects. There also many seasonal-themed special programs throughout the year. There is a cafe and restaurant as well as a picnic year where you can bring your own food.

We have been to Morton Arboretum several times in the past year alone. I've found the spring with the color changes and fresh smell of flowers and budding trees to be extra special, also during Christmas with the light displays is very nice (you can drive around in the winter-not cold in the car). You'll enjoy your visit.

The arboretum is a beautiful place, with collections of specimen trees, all clearly identified, and painstakingly landscaped grounds. There are miles of trails and roads through the arboretum, making it a favorite place for locals to gather for running and bicycling. Special events during the year, like Illuminations near Christmas time, can be fascinating. Unfortunately these events can be so... More

I had my 3 year old with me. We had an amazing day. The children's area is unbelievable- all the various places to play and educate the children. If Disney had an arboretum- this is how they would do it. That good. Natural. Comfortable. Beautiful. Kid friendly. Kids area is out of this world amazing. My daughter loves the brook... More
