This is a great place to take kids! They have so much to interact with there they will never be bored. I would highly recommend.

We found this great place on our last day visiting friends in Galesburg. We had so much fun with our granddaughters ages 6 and 4. We made pizza, played checkout at the grocery store, took a ride in the ambulance, and made phone calls on a phone attached to the wall-haha! We were there for about 2 hours, could have stayed longer but they were closing. Great place!

My son, who is three really enjoyed his time there. There was a ton for him to do and they did a great job with the space that they have to properly use it. There were a ton of options with many different areas for him to visit. A wonderful place to visit!

This place is amazing for the little one's to learn and play freely. There is so much to do in this two story building "that does have an elevator". A perfect setting for a 4 Year old's birthday party. Well Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geared toward younger children but there is tons for them to do here. Recently remodeled and a second story of fun has been added/ Spent a lot of time here with my grandkids.

We spent about 3 hours at the Discovery Depot. We rode the Amtrac train to Galesburg. When we got off the train we could easily see the building which was about one block away. The kids really liked all the activities. It was not the best children's Museum we have been to, but it definitely entertained the kids for 3 hours. The outdoor playground was very nice.

Pretty fun for littles, something to do in Galesburg. The outdoor playground is nice! Kind of pricey to rent for 2 hour bday party but cute place.

Upon arriving we were not greeted, had to approach desk and then were asked if we were members, when we said no nothing was said, no instructions simply stated $24, I had to ask what to do as we have never been in a museum with our toddler before. I would have given 5 stars if entrance was better but everything else was great. Our babe loved all the activities especially the water area and play pretend town! Would go back when I’m in the area.

Discovery Depot now has the second, fun filled, floor open for kids and adults alike. Discovery Depot is easily found and once Spring comes around also has a great playground to work off energy for the kids.

We spent about 1 hour with a 2year Old
planning a trip soon. just needed to know it there is food sold inside also is there a gift shop? I want to make sure i bring enough money with me.

Yes to gift shop. Many places to eat in area with in a block to the West of Depot. Not in Depot.
