This house is only open on Friday and Saturday from 10:00-1:00 since it is run by volunteers, but it is definitely worth working into your visit to Galena. This is where Grant learned by telegraph that he had been elected as President of the U.S....More

We have passed by this home for over 15 years and have never stopped for a visit until this month. What a beautiful, historic home. Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgable.

Hi!I honestly don't know for sure.I think not because there are stairs to climb.Both going in the building and inside.
