The oldest stone house in Illinois. The way that it was constructed, fallen into disrepair and then saved is quite a story. Our guide did an amazing job. It was as though we were in the 1800's

It's the oldest house in Galena. Very rustic, interesting. Very much what you would expect to see. Tour is about 20 min.

I think we went into house in between tour times due to a fluke of misinformation and an unlocked door. The tour guide was so nice and gave us our own tour. It was very interesting.

Belvedere Mansion is also included. It's a beautiful old place. The man who owned it was quite a collector so the house is full of interesting things.
