Pretty impressive museum with very nice people running it. A good place to stop by if you are in Evanston. Only issue is that I would call to see if the museum is open as they open on their own time.

Never knew what a Toby was, let alone a hidden gem of a place. Great history and fun, takes about an hour or less, and will make you smile. Nice, knowledgeable staff makes it a great stop.

I guess there is a museum for everything! This is an impressive private collection of Toby jugs. There are thousands of them - the display cases seem to go on forever. Knowledgable staff to explain the collection and history. Saw it for the first time...More

This has to be the most impressive selection of Toby jugs we have ever seen. It really demonstrates the history and the huge variety in designs and focus of different Tony jug makers.

What a shock to walk into the museum and see 8,000 eyes looking at you! You have to ring the bell to get into the museum that is down the stairs in the basement. Well lite and inviting. It was so much fun to see...More
