I will admit that we stopped here on our way home from the Indianapolis children's museum and it is not on that level, but for children up to age 8-9 there are plenty of activities to stimulate the imagination. Some of the exhibits are in need of an update but overall worth the very modest price of $5 per person.

My grandchildren live out of town. When they spend a few days with me, I love getting them out to places across Decatur. One trip they especially love is first to the Scovill playground and then on to the Children's Museum. The hands-on experiences can keep them occupied for hours. It's especially great that there is an eating area. We... More

We have been frequent visitors and we recently went to a special event called superheroes in training. It was great. Characters dressed to fit the part we there ready to have their photos taken with the kiddos. Police and fire department were there as well. Exhibits were great and even my toddler enjoyed the time we spent. We will be... More

Went with a group of preschool students and the adults seemed to enjoy the outing as much as the students! There is so much to see and do, and there are 2 levels. Loved the bubble area and the extensive dramatic play areas upstairs. You could easily spend hours in this place.

Our two visiting granddaughters loved their visit here. One is 5 the other 16 months. They have many choices of hands on activities and we kept moving from one to the next Until we'd seen them all. Plan on 2 to 3 hours for your visit

According to our children, they loved it, it was fun, and in my 9 year old's words, "it's kid friendly." Very entertaining and well priced! Would make the visit again.

Wonderful place for kids. The activities are fun and educational. Plan on spending some time because the kids will not want to leave.

We are members of our local Science Museum so we received free admission to this Museum. We stopped on the way home from a family reunion to split up the drive time. This was a great children's museum - my ONLY complaint was the limited seating for adults. I'm one of those moms who like to let their kids play... More

We took our 4 year old grandson. It was our first trip there. They had so many areas and things to do. Lots bigger than we thought. They had a grocery store area and a great climbing area. So much to do. We spent 2 hours and could have stayed longer but grandson tired out from playing so much.
