I drive by this place often and rarely see more than a car or 2 there. It's a shame because the nature that it provides for viewing is great for this area. I often see bald eagles sitting in a nearby tree and blue herons scattered about the wetlands and much more. The boardwalk is fantastic just wish they would/could... More

I can not be able to tell anyone to go here. There is a small parking lot and wooden walkway with a wooden tower about two stories tall. There's nothing else there no concession, information or restrooms. Not a safe area last time I was attached by someone on drugs or drunk.

Nice area. Reminded me of swamps in Louisiana. A boardwalk takes you out into the swamp and usually you can get some really cool pictures of nature. Have sawa bald eagle there before. Also a lookout tower to view out of. Kids will like it to.

Sun was setting as we visited the boardwalk. The reflections were beautiful! Saw ducks, swans, turtles, fish and lots of native water plants. Lovely peaceful evening walk!

This tranquil board walk throughout the local wetlands offer the visitor a wealth of nature's beauty. From the floral and the assorted wildlife, each visit will delete you with surprises. Come spend a few minutes or hour's observing. Return many times throughout the year and witness the ever changing wetlands in all of their unique splendor.

What a great little park... It has a floating Boardwalk out into the swamp/march and also an observation tower. The boardwalk is nice, and it's worth hanging around on it a bit. Most recent visit was early spring and the park was full of life - White herons, great blues, Canada geese, coots, blackbirds in the cattails, a sora in... More

This park is county funded. There is a floating walkway into the water for your wildlife viewing. There is a post and frame lookout tower that is spectacular to see, if your into wooden structures. There is also a covered pavilion with concrete floor for picnicking. It's fairly good sized for any family gathering. The parking lot is gravel with... More

Small park. Nice for a quick stop. Walked out on boardwalk and climbed the lookout tower. Lots of nice lilly pads with beautiful flowers. Turtles and birds. Two "portable type" toilets. Park picnic bench and small parking lot. Pretty wetlands area.

This a fabulous way to see the natural habitat for our many local blue heron. There is also a huge bed of lily pads that come into full bloom in the late summer and fall. The tower is high enough to see down the river and to allow the visitor to observe in every direction.
