We heard to skip the observation deck and visit the Signature Lounge instead. We waited about 15 minutes in line (we went around sunset) to get upstairs. We didn't get a spot by the window, and service wasn't amazing, but the views from the ladies'...More

It's free to go up and not unreasonably priced. How often can you sip a cocktail with such a view? Cocktails were around $17, as were the sharing platters, service was great, they bagged us a table by the window. If you're in Chicago, add...More

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.

We were in the lounge at night time. It is kind of a happening place, so I doubt it closes early.
