Chicago's architecture is well-known. Visiting Chicago is like walking in a living museum of interesting buildings, parks, and city sites. This shop is the storefront version of the variety and excitement that walking through the city holds. The shop has so many interesting things, especially celebrating the city and her famous art.

I like this store a lot. I visit often as it is one of my first stops for gifts. They have such a variety of items, for the home, office, cards, books, decorative objects, seasonal items, etc. and all with a high level of design and quality and often unique. There is a section at the back where they have... More

Across the street from the Art Institute, the ArchiCenter Shop is a great place to find unique and colorful gifts. Its architectural base means that there is a large inventory of books about Chicago architecture as well as pictures, models and maps. It features an intriguing inventory of jewelry, clocks, toys and household items that is tempting to a shopper... More

We stopped here after our visit to the Art Institute as it is right across the street. It was filled with loads of great architecture books, Chicago books and items related to architecture and plenty for kids. If you go don't forget to go to the back of the store and go into the model room to see the city... More

This happened to be the first shop I walked by and went into in Chicago this trip, and I made sure I made time to come back and spend some time before I left. Wonderful, imaginative gifts you will not find anywhere else! And price-points for everyone! Don't miss the diorama of Chicago's skyline in the atrium behind the store!

Lots of neat and unique items for sale in the store, fun things for all ages. They sell very reasonable priced tour tickets here including a two hour lego workshop that I am hoping to take my son to next time we visit this amazing city. If you go through the store there is a beautiful atrium that houses an... More

Lots of books, decent exhibit in th atrium. Buy some books, buy some coasters. You can also go to the tour desk if you are into such things.

My husband and I stepped into the ArchiCenter thinking that we would find a few exhibits on the architecture in Chicago, buy a few books, and that would be all. Instead we arrived just in time to take a three and a half hour tour of the city's major architectural accomplishments with an extremely knowledgeable docent. Our city tour included... More
