Small house tucked away in the north center neighborhood of Chicago. Amazing performances, productions and just well written plays. The humans was so good, it landed a spot on Broadway. But, my favorite is the projects. Make it a point to see a show here

I've now seen a couple of shows at this theater and both were amazing. The most recent was The Projects. Very powerful and so well-acted. For a little red brick, non-descript building in my neighborhood, I would never expect the amazing theater performed here. Can't...More

I've seen many plays here, most recently The Humans, which I found uncomfortable and familiar, evoking all of the internal dialogue one hopes will come from theatre. "Disgraced" staged by ATC in 2012, continues to be one of the most powerful theatre evenings I've experienced.

A very good, high energy performance of this great hippie/Vietnam era musical. Young cast for whom 1967 must seem like ancient history, does a fine job with this show. Solid vocals and excellent set design, music and directing make for a fun Chicago theater experience.

great cast, wonderful singing, well directed and choreographed... loved the stage, the atmosphere, and reminiscing. this production of Hair had everything from sing-a-longs to half naked hippies-- ah the good ol' days!

Our family attended a very well-done "Radio" performance of It's A Wonderful Life. The scripting and acting was great, very crisply delivered with remarkable sound effects. The theater is really small and some of the seating is ad-hoc. The rear of the theater has some...More
