A very strange building in a great location on the river. The bottom part of the buildings is for car parking and the top are apartments.

Really catch the eye these pair and you can see through the lower section and that the lower section is used for car parking. We took the architecture river cruise and would recommend it.

Marina City is a distinctly Chicago structure, comprised of two 65-stormy towers on the north side of the Chicago River. The unique buildings with parking on floors 1-19 and apartments on floors 20-60 resemble corn cobs. Anyone who lives or works in the loop knows...More

We took an architecture tour of Marina City. It was interesting to hear the history around the building of the structure. In addition to the tall residential "corn cob" buildings the complex of Marina City includes the structure that now is the House of Blues,...More

You will definitely see these buildings if you take an architectural tour river cruise. Built between 1964-1968, these are mixed use residential and commercial buildings. At river level, they function as a small marina.

These are on the north side of the river and can easily be viewed from the Riverwalk. They are a bit ugly.

There are so many parking garages in the area. We parked around Ohio and Wabash and paid $150 for three days, which was a better rate than what the hotel would have been.
